Andrea Corr

Andrea Jane Corr MBE (born Andrea Jane Corr) is a singer-songwriter-musician and actress from Ireland. Corr made her debut in the year 1990. She was The lead singer in the Celtic folk and pop group The Corrs along with her three elder siblings Caroline Sharon and Jim. Andrea Corr, an Irish musician singer songwriter actor is a member of the Corrs. The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire has been awarded to her. However, she is more well-known as the Celtic pop rock group The Corrs. Andrea is the singer-lead of the group and plays multiple instruments. Debuting as an actor in 1991 Andrea then became an accomplished musician as well as a stage performer. Andrea was voiced by the character of The Quest for Camelot, a Warner Bros. cartoon film which was released in 1998. Andrea has six studio albums under her credit. She also has two compilation albums, four live albums and the mix CD. Her charitable efforts have also received recognition. Andrea's stockbroker husband as well as two children belong to her. Andrea started learning to play the piano by playing the Tinny. Andrea also learned to perform the piano with the guidance of Gerry. Andrea is also an musician on the ukulele. In her teens, she spent time learning to play the instrument. She sang in the choir with her sisters and became the leader of the band following a long period of training. Andrea attended 'Dun Lughaidh Convent which is where she performed frequently in school performances.
